 Handi-Foam
Two-Component Standard Foams are ideal for Insulating and Sealing
jobs that require a product designed for spray application over
large surface areas or for filling large voids and gaps. Handi-Foam
Two-Component Foam is a chemically cured foam system. Each Foam pack
includes both an “A” & “B” component.
Dispensed through the included dispensing tool, the foam “A”
and its curing agent “B” are mixed at the nozzle and
cure much more quickly than One-Component Foams. Since Two-Component
Foams do not rely on moisture in the air in order to cure they can
be used to fill large spaces and voids or sprayed on walls and in
cavities without concern for delays in curing and hardening. Unlike
most spray foams, Handi-Foam is closed cell foam. This closed cell
design offers not only excellent insulation and draft sealing but
also serves as an air and vapor barrier, discouraging the development
of mold and mildews.
All Handi-Foam Two-Component foams have an expansion ratio of
up to 8:1 and carry an R-value of 6-7 per inch of cured foam. They
range in density from 1.75 to 2.0 lbs per cubic ft. and can resist
a temperature range of –200 F to +200 F. All Two-Component
foams will cure tack-free in less than a minute, can be trimmed
and cut in 2-5 minutes and are completely cured in several hours.
Foam yield is best when the foam container contents are properly
warmed to a range of 75F-85F. Foam can be trimmed, sanded and painted.
Foam is not UV resistant unless painted or stained. All Handi-Foam
products are completely free of any VOC’s,CFC’s and
formaldehyde.
Every Handi-Foam Two-Component Kit includes everything you need
to successfully apply foam. This includes pre-pressurized containers,
hoses and the Handi-Gun Dispensing Gun. Each kit also comes with
a pack of 8 disposable nozzles so the user can replace nozzles as
needed while using the foam. Extra nozzles are available for purchase
on this site if desired. The number included in each kits description
indicates how many “Board Feet” it will cover. For example,
a Handi-Foam II-205 Kit will dispense enough foam to cover 205 board
feet. A board foot equals an area 12” x 12” x 1”
thick of cured foam. Two-Component Foam kits are available in a
