Handi-Foam® One-Component Straw Foam is a UL-classified
sealant. It can be used to economically insulate, seal,
bond, fill and stop air infiltration. One-Component foams
cure when moisture in the air reacts with the chemistry
of the foam. Handi-Foam® One-Component Foams cure to
in place densities between 1.0 and 2.0lbs per cubic foot
(16.02 to 32.04kgs per cubic meter) and carry an R-value
of 4 to 5 per inch (2.54cm). Cured foam can be trimmed,
sanded and/or painted. Straw Foam cans include an attachable
straw and trigger assembly used to dispense the foam.
Typical applications include:
- Filling cracks & voids
- Sealing around HVAC units
- Filling gaps around pipes
- Fixing small holes & other damage
